OFFGRIDLAND
(Brighton Fringe, Rik Mayall Comedy Festival, Chesham Fringe, Langton Green Fringe, Chesham Fringe...more to be confirmed soon, including the Edinburgh Fringe)
Written and performed by Paul Richards
Flight. Mode. The two most wonderful words...but even with his mobile blocking the outside world, can our desperate, overworked hero ever switch off? It's time to go to his favourite place: Offgridland. Just ignore the knocks on the door. A frantic, claustrophobic comedy play that blends theatre and stand-up, Offgridland is the true story of a man trying to switch off from the perils of his phone and, you know, other people.
PHYSICAL MEDIA
(performances TBA)
Written by Paul Richards. Performed by Alex Machell and Nicole Horst.
A quirky and heartfelt exploration of nostalgia, modernity, and the human need for connection, set in a small, outdated CD and DVD store clinging to life in a rapidly digital world. Meet Tony; he's struggling - but he has amazing music taste. Meet Amelia; she just wants to be in a Richard Curtis movie...a witty tale of loneliness, missed opportunities, and unexpected friendships.
FINN(EGAN): DEATH BY CONGAS
(Leicester Comedy Festival...more to be confirmed soon).
Written and performed by Paul Richards
Finn (Finnegan to his mum): a renowned percussionist, but only because of his dancing. A really cool guy (according to his mum), yet never taken seriously as a musician... until now. You are cordially invited to the album launch of Conga Opus—Finn(egan)’s masterpiece (according to his mum). Or pretentious nonsense, if you believe the naysayers. A beautiful musical comedy, about dignity, drums, and occasional disasters.
RESTLESS MONKEY CHOPS
(Leicester Comedy Festival...more to be confirmed soon).
Written and performed by Paul Richards
Paul Richards wants to do everything: perform a new play, record the most exciting drumming album ever, learn some magic, attempt to speak Polish, host a quiz show, and walk a thousand steps whilst doing so. It’s all on his to-do list. We have one hour. Come and watch a multi-award-winning, but incredibly restless, man on total overdrive. Can it be done?
THE MANY CARS OF PAUL RICHARDS AGED 44 AND A BIT

A show about cars, by a man who knows absolutely nothing about them. Every car has a story...and Paul has had a LOT of cars. To book, email Paul (thepaulrichards@gmail.com)
